The Dell hockey outfit Sikh Union beat Rugby 4-2 to continue their solid start to the Mercian Summer League.

Sunny Khara and Tersrum Singh netted with Surjit Takhar grabbing a brace to stay near the top of the Premier division.

Goalkeeper and press officer Sarj Virdee said: "We've made a solid start and everyone is playing well."

Union were due to entertain Sutton Coldfield yesterday (Wednesday).
