1 March 2002 Manjit Kaur passed away on the 28th February 2001. Born on 3rd February 1930 she was better known as Pamela Wylam and was well known in the Sikh community during the 1960's and 1970's. She later married again and took the name McCormack Manjit Kaur was probably best known for her work with Amar Singh Chhatwal (who also sadly passed away earlier this year) on the Sikh Courier and the publication of several booklets about Sikhism which were distributed free of charge. With Amar Singh she used to run a weekly bi-lingual divan at Central Gurdwara London (Shepherds Bush) for the benefit of many local Sikhs and Non-Sikhs.
