Publisher of the Sikh Courier passes away sikhspirit.com

28 January 2002

Amar Singh Chhatwal, the founder and publisher of the Sikh Courier International, passed away last week in Chandigarh aged 89. The Sikh Courier was the first Sikh Journal to be published in the UK, established in the 1960's. He also published a number of popular booklets introducing the Sikh faith to non-Sikhs, which were sent all around the world free of charge.

Sikh Spirit salutes Amar Singh's contribution to the Sikh cause in the UK and abroad.
